A season of success culminated in Manly winning its eighth premiership, defeating the New Zealand Warriors by 24–10 in the Grand Final. Glenn Stewart was awarded the Clive Churchill Medal for his 34 tackles and a crucial try in the second half, making he and brother Brett Stewart the first ever brothers to score tries in the same Grand Final (in the 10 matches where this Stewart Brothers’ double has occured, Manly has won all 10 matches)
Manly played Brisbane to decide who would go to the Grand Final. Manly led for very early on and never gave up their lead. Ending up with a 26-14 win. Now just one win left for the season.
Manly played North Queensland this round of the finals. Manly broke two records. The most points scored in a half of finals football & their highest points scored in a game of finals. After they recovered for an 8-0 deficit at half tine to win 42-8. This gave Manly a week off.
Manly headed up to Brisbane to play the Broncos for the last round of the regular season. Brisbane won 18-10
Manly played Melbourne at home. Manly came up with the win 18-4.
Manly Played The Bulldogs at home at Brookvale Oval Manly got up 27-16
